Don't Agree
If you have been approached by the landlord of our trailer park (Main Pointe East), do no agree to do a rent to buy agreement for your trailer. These trailers are for the most part former meth labs and are not up to code (we got lucky, no issues). If you agree to buy it, you have to assume all responsibilities and liabilities. You may find that many of these units may be legally uninhabitable.
Sheryl Nosser (A former property manager) would pay a home inspector to give a property a green light in the past.
They appear to be in a hurry to accomplish this move before they have to register their business license with the municipality/state. They will also have to reveal their real names, assets as well as the trailers that have experienced meth explosions and other properties that they own and/or manage. The Quincy Police Department/ Fire Department / Drug Enforcement has records of the meth and cocaine manufacturing activity.
I also have video evidence of some of the insides of the properties.
Cleaning/sanitizing a former meth lab property is cost prohibitive for most slumlords.
If they approach you, get your phone out and start recording and never talk to them over the phone. texting is the best way to have a paper trail of your conversations.
Landlords have to now be a registered business to provide rental property.
What a house looks like when it's used as a meth lab.
