Retaliation against a resident of your rental property is forbidden by Illinois state law.
Landlords and/or the property management group can be sued under tort law.
This is why I pay my rent on time and only communicate with them through texting or e-mail.
Register their real name as a sucks.com (johndoesucks.com / companynamesucks.com) and just post the bitchy text that the sent you. Then just send it (their new website) to them. You wont be harassing them since they most likely voluntarily viewed it and annoyed themselves. You can post their real address as long as it's listed on a public directory and/or listed as a legitimate business. You can also use your camera on your phone to record them while their in public conversing with you. There's more content for their new website that you can post.
Renters do really have rights and if they (slumlords) can't listen, then they have to feel.
You can sell that domain name to an anonymous user for millions if you want. Just don't try to sell it to the subject of your complaint site or any one of their associates. You can legally use a trademarked company's name as a sucks.com
That pesky little first amendment is wonderful.
